The Department for Accounting and Material Affairs, Planning and Budgeting, Financial Affairs, IT Affairs, Procurement and Storage of Goods performs the tasks and tasks of drafting financial plans of the Service for current and capital expenditures, monitoring approved and spent funds in all categories, preparing monthly and quarterly reports on income and expenses, preparing main annual financial reports, drafting regulations and other acts related to material and financial operations, procurement and storage of goods, accounting and financial affairs for the Service, and the organs and bodies of the Federation of BiH for which these tasks have been taken over. The Department prepares an annual procurement plan, as well as proposals for subordinate legislation, prepares decisions on initiating and completing public procurement procedures, monitors the implementation of contracts/framework agreements, submits reports on the procedures carried out to the Public Procurement Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as goods storage tasks, cooperates with the Treasury, authorized auditors and responsible officials in the bodies for which the tasks are performed, performs accounting supervision and control of the correctness of material and financial operations in the Service, controls the legality of accounting transactions, controls the completeness of accounting documentation, controls whether financial reports provide complete, reliable and credible information on the results of financial operations and financial positions, and IT tasks for the Service.
